The word "perfect" ?

 The word "perfect" ?

Our whole life, we were taught to be perfect.
Our whole life, we were taught that the human being, is imperfect
Our whole life, our surroundings were building on us expectations, and we eventually, wanted to achieve the best.
And what I mean by "best", is the absolute perfection.

We all tried, to get the pefect exam scores.
We tried to be the perfect friends.
We tried to be the perfect child our parents always wished for.

We, maybe, made some people believe that we are that incarnated perfection.
But, I assure you, we are absolutly not.
Remember, we are that human being. And human beings are full of qualities, but also, flaws.

Even though you did not get the desired results wrote above, you, deep down, often think about perfection. After all, this word exists and was implanted in our daily lives.

Perfection can be different in the eyes of various people. (That instagram model, that famous tik toker, that wealthy footballer, that millionnaire with a mansion, that boy/girl with outstanding performances...)

But, what we do not realize, is that it can hurt us.
Wanting to get the absolute great of the greatest can be harmful.

Don't get me wrong though ! I am not saying that you should not achive the best, I am not saying you should not dream... I am not saying you should not have high expectations.

I just want you to take a moment, a deep breathe, and appreciate yourself, just the way you are.
Be true to yourself, and always remember that "best" is not "perfect".
Perfect is an illusion made by us.
What's true, is you and your inner self.

Every one is unique, and we should not grow standards that everyone should follow.
Because without diversity, we would live in a monotone world.
And without flaws, we won't make progress to make things good.

A wise person once said : "perfection itself , is imperfection."
